Appropriate Process

Appropriate Process is about tailoring all aspects of software development process so that the process is appropriate to the situation.

A process should be as agile as possible, and as robust as necessary

The selection of the appropriate software development process for an organization and a project can make the difference between success and failure.

The manifesto summarises what makes a Process appropriate. Appropriate Process is based on values and principles that guide process configuration.

The members are software professionals based in UK. Having experienced both the pleasant and the not so pleasant aspects of software development over our career and having come to the conclusion that we could not contribute to solving the process crisis alone, we came together to form this group. You can read more about us and about our members.

We put together some essays and other resources that you can find here.
